So I got all the modeling done... oh wait I guess I have some knobs I have to do on the the guitar body but I started doing the UVs so that I can design something to go on the front.  But I forgot how to import it back to Maya.  And then I want to make a texture on the amp so that it has the speaker texture.

Done with the guitar!  Woot!  Now to model stuff to go with the background.  Which I am just doing an amp and a guitar stand.

Guitar all textured!!

I got the wood texture off the internet, learned how to photoshop it and bring it back to Maya, fitting the texture together, fixing everything so when it is smooth it looks right, put texture, color, UV, and stuff to EVERYTHING, learned to use creativecrash.com to get the gold for the head (learned how to get that into Maya too) and yep!  Now I think I just have to light it and I'll be done!! Woot!  Thanks for the help!!

I worked on making the hole in the base then making the inside hollow by dupicating the base of the guitar making it slightly smaller, combining them together and then merging the two where the hole is at.   Also added the neck with the notches.  I also made the hole at the head of the guitar for the strings. Then I added to the base the base where the string are held down and together.  Now just the knobs and strings and I'll be done!! Woot woot!
